My Persuasive Ad

In writing we had to make an Ad for a product. We could choose out of a car, a pair of shoes, a circus or a smoothie. We did a draft then edited it. Then we got to make a google drawing. we had to make it bright and colourful.

My fabulous 100 word challenge

My 100 word Challenge

Me and my brother, Sammy, were Walking through the forest. Sammy was on his old bike. He raced ahead of us and I stopped to look at a treehouse. I hear a frightful scream and a rustle of leaves. I start running to see what it is. I stop at a tree. Sammy’s bike was in the tree and on the seat was a lump that looked like a human .I let out a cry but I shut up. I could hear a quiet muttering. It sounded like a rhyme. I let out a scream. I was in the tree.

My Wonderful Persuasive Writing

WALT: Be able to write a persuasive text.
For writing we had to make a persuasive writing about how the Beach is better than the pool. When we had done our draft we had to highlight these thing: Pink is the reasons , Yellow is the time connectives,green is the logical connectives,blue is the strong emotive words.  we had to set our writing out with the introduction first, then the reason paragraphs and then the conclusion. 

I think the beach is better than the pool because it is free, there is more space,  its open anytime and got more things to do.

Firstly, The beach has way more space than a pool has. At the pool there is only a few pools there, and they might have some age limits so there's even less pools, but at the beach there is no age limit and you can go as deep as you want, plus you don’t have to keep looking if your going to run into someone.

Secondly, There is more things to do, like at the beach you can go swimming, body boarding, surfing, run around and just playing on the sand, but in a pool you can only swim, play a few games that doesn’t involve running and a few competitions. At the beach you can run around all you want, but at the pool you can only walk. The beach is better when you fall over because when you fall on the beach you land on the squishy sand, but at the pool if you slip you fall on to hard concrete or tiles.

Thirdly, without a doubt the beach is better than the pool because it's free At the beach you can go anytime you want and It doesn’t cost anything, only if your children don’t beg for an ice-cream, but at the pool it cost quite a lot if you have a big family and also you could drive all the way to the pool and then the pool might be close because of a code brown, plus it has a closing time. If the pool has a cafe the food/drinks are always really expensive.

Lastly,I am certain that the beach is better than the pool because the Beach has nice,fresh air but the pool has stuffy, chlorine air, which sometimes can give you a headache. At the beach it has way better scenery too, And it's all natural. The beach has nice water but at the pool there probably is pee in the water. The beach is a nice place to walk you dog too but at the pool you not allowed  animals.

These are the reasons I strongly believe the beach is better than the pool. It cost less, it’s better for your health, you can have more fun and it's got more space. Therefore the beach is better than the pool.

My Wonder 100 Word Challenge

Today at Writing we did the 100 word challenge which is where we get some word or a sentence the we have to include in our story but you also can't go over or under 100 words. Our sentence for today was: ..."Because I said So".... It very hard to get it exactly on 100 hundred words and still get a average story. Here is my story:

I was sitting on my fat couch watching Catfish in the dark when I heard noise that sounded like a dying
Sheep. I jump up and rushed into the hallway. I saw a dude wearing a pink leotard overtop of black
leggings, and yellow leg warmers. He was half  out of my window that always jammed. He froze.

“Put your hands up” he cried.

“Why do I have to?” I asked

“because I said so!” He shouted. He was still half way out of the window so I just pushed him a little bit and he tumbled out the window.

My Awesome Mihi

My fabulous 5 Sentence challenge.

today in writing we did the 5 sentence challenge. the 5 sentence challenge is where we get a photo to write a story on but the story has to only be 5 sentence. Here is the photo that we had today.

Here's my story.

I didn’t mean to hurt him, but somehow I did. I started crying as I watch him limping out of my gate with his little dog at his side. I don’t even know what I had done to upset my kind grandfather.  My cat walked up to me and pushed his head against my legs but I didn’t notice. I call out to him but he doesn’t turn his head I shout his name but still he doesn’t look back so I run into my little house, hoping he will forgive me.
